Use the C-API

That works fine.

As for Java for lazy people? o_O

You do know you can do OpenGL stuff in Java now (and have been able to for some time). Just check out JAKE2 for an example. Also full audio access. No idea why STL is quoted as JRE would have similar stuff.

To code correctly in Java it can be quite as complex as C/C++. The lazy part I can only guess is that it has a lower learning curve to get something done from no knowledge.
